Ravina Moreau¶
An aasimar Grave Domain cleric — a stranger to the party until the Ending Outline's climax, where she becomes the key to Daphne's resurrection. Wife of Draven Moreau, mother of Elysia Moreau.
Overview¶
Ravina appears nowhere in the played campaign (Chrono Conundrum Notes.md) — she exists entirely within Chrono_Conundrum_Ending_Outline.docx.md, the GM's unplayed intended ending. Everything about her is therefore Planned Canon.
History¶
Per the Ending Outline, during the year the party spends apart after Daphne's sacrifice (the "Gap Year"), Ravina receives a vision showing her how Daphne can be brought back. She sends this vision to every scattered party member simultaneously, and "one by one, across planes and continents, they come back" — her Sending is effectively what reunites the party for the resurrection. The outline notes the vision's specific contents were left "to be confirmed with Daphne's player" and were never filled in (see Unresolved Threads).
At the resurrection ritual, held at the volcano where Lavos's power first claimed Daphne, Ravina provides "the death-and-life framework as Grave Domain cleric" — one of three components of the ritual, alongside Demeter's restored divine power and the party's own grief and refusal to accept the ending. She, her husband Draven, and their daughter Elysia are all present. The Ending Outline's Confirmed Details table lists her simply: "Joins the party until Daphne returns. Present at the Windsor wedding with husband Draven and daughter Elysia."
