The Windsor Estate

Home of House Windsor, on the Elongated Isle — explicitly based on Long Island — off the western coast of Lumis, near the city of Celestine. Built by Daphne Windsor after her resurrection and marriage to Laethan Windsor.

Wolfgang Windsor Backstory.docx describes the estate as sitting "directly on the Faerûnian coast"; per direct GM clarification (chat, 2026-08-22), the setting's actual regional geography is Lumis and Celestine, not Faerûn — see Meta/Source Inventory.md.

Overview

A "sleek, light-washed manor" of glass, pale stone, and clean lines, warded with sigils and — per Daphne, "a deity who remembers the future" — built to last. Near a large city where Daphne can act on her divine portfolio of protection and reconciliation.

History

Per the Ending Outline, the estate is built as part of the epilogue following Daphne's return, intended as "peace and tranquility, with a large city nearby where she can help people." Wolfgang Windsor Backstory.docx (Bridge Material) establishes it as the site of the triplets' entire childhood: the music room, the garden where Wolfgang and Cassian wrestled, the veranda where Fifi and Kitty and Bernard and Achilles all came and went, and the atrium shattered twice — once by the trap that killed Bruthys Countrat, once by Wolfgang's first transformation.
